Quantise
2023
Located in North London, Quantise are self described "Outsiders". They are a small studio that live and breathe everything sound. In 2023, they challenged me to create a visual identity that helps reflect their passion for all things audio.
To bring their vision to life, I looked at key elements like logo, typography, colour, social media posts, merch and custom icon design.
Process
Breaking down the project
Noisy, Obsessive and Rebellious. These were a few of the descriptors the studio used in the initial brief. I referred back to these a lot during my first concepts, trying to find a balance between them all. Quantise wanted a visual identity that screams "We're the rulebreakers!"
Building the brand
I designed a logomark, selected a distinct typeface that could reinforce their brand descriptors and built an in your face colour system that couldn't be ignored. After that, I combined these key elements to produce social media posts, custom iconography and merch for their studio space.
Result
After sitting down with Quantise for initial feedback, we did make some changes to the logomark to ensure it was more gender neutral but overall there were minimal revisions. They were extremely happy with the direction, especially the colour choices.
